The Kano State Fire Service said it saved 163 lives and property worth N591.5million from January to March.

The director of the service, Alhaji Hassan Ahmed-Muhammed, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Kano.

He said 27 persons lost their lives, while property worth N197.6 million were destroyed by fire during the period. (NAN)
