Speaking at the inauguration of the syllabus review committee, Kabara said this followed the recent upgrading of the school by the state government.
Kabara said the school will be issuing certificates on fire technology, diploma in fire engineering, certificate in risk and disaster management among other courses.
He said the school was affiliated to Kano State University of Science and Technology, Wudil.
He added that the school, one of the reputable fire service training schools in Africa established in 1978, trains fire service men from within and outside Nigeria.
He said the inaugurated committee was saddled with responsibilities of harmonising the syllabuses of the two institutions for effective and successful commencement of the programmes.
