The Kano State government has procured medical equipment, furniture and other consumables worth over 100 million naira to be distributed to some selected facilities in the state as part of efforts to revamp the health sector in the state.
The Commissioner for Health Dr kabir Ibrahim Getso stated this while inspecting the consignment at the state’s medical store. He said when the equipment are installed at the selected facilities,  it would reduce most of the problems faced by patients especially during operations or delivery.
The equipment  include operation tables, delivery beds, scanning machines, ultrasonic nebulizer, cardio monitor and other medical consumables.
