Dam dredging boosts tomato production in Tafoki
The Nigeria Agribusiness Group (NABG) and Grow Africa in collaboration with the Tomato Grower association of Nigeria (TOGAN) put together the 1st National Tomato Stakeholders Summit, next week in Kano state.
Stakeholders will discuss the theme “Strengthening Opportunities in Tomato Value Chain towards a National Self Sufficiency” during the conference.
The event which is billed for Thursday January 24th 2019, will bring key stakeholders together to examine the many challenges facing the industry in the country.
His Royal Highness, Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, Minister for Agriculture & Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, Minister of State Industry, Trade and Investment, Hajiah Aisha Abubakar, the Governor of Central Bank, Mr. Godwin Emifele and the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed are among the top dignitaries to grace the event.
