The Kano State Government has introduced a new Educational Module that will encourage community participation.
Speaking while receiving 2015 ‘Most Outstanding Man of the Year in the Educational field’, the Principal Private Secretary to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Bala Usman, said that already a committee involving educationist, Traditional and religious Leaders as well as other stakeholders has been set up to scrutinize the new module.
Usman, explained that Government is concern about educational development in the state, hence, government give emphasis to Primary educational development.
He also noted that as the new module is been put in place, they were also at the same time looking at the structural defect of hundreds of Schools across the State, adding that they have since embarked on infrastructural development of classes and other needed structures.
He said government has inaugurated committees at both state and local government levels with a view repairing all delapidated schools across tha state. He recall that a same of N10m each was allocated to the 44 local government areas in that respect.
