A Kano Sharia court in Fagge on Thursday ordered that a 25-year-old man, Khalifa Ahmed, who pleaded guilty to stealing four cartons of Indomie noodles, be remanded in a correctional centre.

The Khadi, Isma’il Muhammad-Ahmed, adjourned the matter to July 26 for summary trial.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Mr Abdul Wada, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on June 27, on Kabobo Street in Fagge area of Kano.

He said the accused at about 9pm trespassed into one Masa’udu Musa’s shop and stole four cartons of Indomie. (NAN)
