A young man, Yusuf Garba (35) from Butu Butu town in Rimin Gado LGA of Kano State, has reportedly stabbed himself to death with a knife.
Garba reportedly stabbed himself in the stomach after playing a Hausa music from his mobile phone about hunters’ heroic self-praise known as Gangi extolling their supposed invulnerability to knife or any sharp or piercing object.
The emotional tone of the music was said to have dazed Garba to the extent of stabbing himself with a knife, which led to his death.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, who confirmed the incident, called on the public to desist from any act capable of costing them their lives.
