A resident of Gaida community in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State, Mubarak Sale, has embarked on trekking to Abuja from Kano to congratulate the president-elect in the just concluded presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said his love for Tinubu and his desire to take pictures with him informed his decision.

He said the most exciting part of the election is that despite the plot by some people in the party to scuttle Tinubu’s victory, he still made it, saying such achievement worth celebrating.

“I am trekking from Kano to Abuja to meet the president-elect. I want to go there by my legs mainly to celebrate with him and also take pictures with him. I decided to do this for the love I have for him,” he said.

Asked whether the president-elect is aware of his coming, the young man said, “He is not aware but I believe before I reach Abuja in the next 10 to 12 days, he will know and I will meet him by God’s grace.”

Sale also said his community had also given him a message to deliver to the president-elect.
