Four-time Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars have listed Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, among players that will represent the club in the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Kano Pillars will resume pre-season training today, June 30, after a one-month break following the conclusion of the 2024/2025 season.
This was made known in a statement by the club’s Media and Communications Directorate, which said Pillars are eager to build on their steady improvement from last season to reclaim their place among the elites of Nigerian club football.
In a related development, the management of the club has named core players who have been retained and are expected to report for the first training session.

They are Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, Raibu Ali “Pele”, Muttaka Musa, Abdullahi Abubakar, Fahad Usman, Dawud Ibrahim, Abdullahi Ali, Yusuf Bala Maigoro, Naziru Auwalu Ibrahim, Aminu Adam Sani, Habibu Yakubu, Mustapha Umar, and Ibrahim Sani Halliru.
Also listed is Jerry Alex, Umar Sani Yakasai, Auwal Ali Malam, Imran Ahmad, Sudais Ali Baba, Zaharadeen Bello, Shehu Abdullahi, Yusuf Abdullahi, Okeke Destiny Abuchi, Bright Emmanuel, Ibrahim Inuwa, and Mubarak Lawan.
In addition, Jibrin Yusuf, Aminu Muhammed, Mustapha Muhammed, and Muhammad Usman from the Feeders and academy of Kano Pillars will join the senior squad for the new season.
The club also confirmed that newly signed players will join the squad in the coming days.
