Kano State Police Commissioner, Abu Ahmadu Sani has commended youths for their roles in peaceful coexistence in the state.
Speaking at a one-day Nigerian youths peace and security summit, organised by the Nigerian Youth Parliament in Kano, the police boss said the gathering of traditional rulers, academics and other stakeholders to promote peace in the state was timely in view of the recent #EndSARS protest and the violence that followed across the country.
Represented by ACP Uzairu Abdullahi, the commissioner stated that, “we must commend the youths in Kano for their cooperation and maintaining peace. This is a very good development at this trying time when there are crises in the country,” he said.
