The Kano state Polytechnic has secured full accreditation of 34 programmes in three years, Rector of the institution, Professor Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, said.
A statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to Kano state governor, Malam Abba Anwar said the rector made the disclosure while briefing the Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on the achievements recorded by the institution in the last three years.
Professor Kurmawa stated that as at the time the Ganduje-led administration assumed office in 2015, the accreditation of 30 courses had expired but with the commitment shown by the government, all the courses and four additional programmes had been accredited.
He said among the new courses that got full accreditation were National Diploma in Survey and Geo-Informatics, National Diploma in Estate Management and Evaluation.
The rector said the success recorded was as a result of the government dedication toward restoring the lost glory of education sub-sector in the state.
