The Management of Kano State Polytechnic is to close registration for the 2016/2017 academic session on December 8.
This was contained in a statement signed by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Garba Isma’il Fagge.
The registration had earlier closed but reopened due to students’ outcries which compelled the management of the institution to call an emergency meeting and come up with another resolution.
According to the statement, the management decided that a new window should be opened from Monday 20th November to Friday December 8, 2017, to allow both returning and spill-over students to complete the registration exercise.
‘‘All affected students who had made payments for their registration fees previously should consider their payments valid and would be eligible to write their examinations’’ the statement said.
The management also warned student against late registration saying any student who fails to register on or before Friday 8th December 2017 should be deemed to have voluntarily withdrawn.
