The chairman of the state delegation to the show, Dr. Shehu Bawa, made the statement while conducting this reporter round some of the agro products, technologies and innovations the state brought to the show at the state pavilion.
“We have come from Kano State with a lot of things related to agriculture in order to beat anybody who is trying to compete with us. We have presented here eight value chains. In these eight value chains, I can tell you nobody can beat us”, Bawa boasted.
The state came with a mobile zoo made up of a lion, chimpanzee, hyena, gorillas and other animals which attracted a lot of attention from school children, participants and other exhibitors.
The state has a cake called “Alkaki” made from wheat brittle specially produced by the Kano State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in commemoration of the state’s 2013 agricultural show.
