The Chairman of Kano State Board of Internal Revenue, Alhaji Nasiru Muhammad made this known when he led a team from the board that paid a courtesy visit to Kano State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Ibrahim Mamman Tsafe at the Force Headquarters, Kano.
The chairman said the police play a vital role in revenue generation in the state that is why the board finds it necessary to make the police headquarters the first in line of places the board wishes to visit. The chairman stresses that the board intends to device a means of extensive use of the various radio stations, newspapers, states men, NGOs and other related avenues in ensuring that the public is fully enlightened on paying tax.
He further solicits for continued support from the police, adding that the board appreciates the existing symbiotic relationship between the board and the police.
