Kano State government has called on the federal government to place a special priority on the state under its upcoming empowerment programme considering the state’s youth’s statistics and their untapped intellectual resources.
The call was made by the Director General, Kano State Directorate of Youth Development and Economic Empowerment, Ado Abba Tudunwada, during a press briefing in Kano.
 The DG said Kano State was one of the few states blessed with a huge number of unskilled youths that require simple acquisition training and empowerment to be self-reliant.
