Kano State Government says it has spent over N500 million on the accreditation of 54 courses at the Kano State Polytechnic.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje disclosed this at the Fifth Digital Print Solution Expo in Kano on Tuesday.
The Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, represented the governor at the occasion.
He said the money was used for the provision of facilities at the school being part of the prerequisite for the accreditation of the courses in the school.
“When we came in, we found out that no fewer than 54 courses in the State Polytechnic were not accredited.
“So, we felt it was necessary to ensure that all those courses, including those in the Department of printing technology in the School of technology, were accredited, “he said.
