The scholarships awarded were for MBBS, pharmacy, nursing, pilot courses and Masters programmes. 
The foundation will be implementing various programmes for the advancement of education in Kano State.
To accomplish its mission, the foundation will embark on implementing low-cost and high impact programmes including coaching secondary school students on the West African Examination Council (WAEC); National Examination Council (NECO); Joint Admission and Matriculations Board Computer Based Test and Post-UTME as well as voluntary extra lessons.
The foundation will also embark on mentorship and career guidance for students of secondary schools through organising seminars and workshops; sourcing of scholarship opportunities and setting up of endowment for them.
Also as part of its programmes, the foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education will train primary school teachers in the state.
The programmes will be critically examined periodically to determine their relevance to the mission of the foundation, their efficiency and effectiveness and to ascertain the need for new areas of need.
The foundation will remain self-funded by its members and will employ sound internal financial procedures for effective running of the accounts.
