Famous Kano based political singer Dauda Abdullahi Adamu Kahutu popularly known as Rarara in collaboration with some notable Kannywood actors and actresses have called for peace ahead of the awaited Supreme Court Judgment on the Kano state governorship election, scheduled for this December.
While addressing newsmen in Kano on the matter, Rarara said as law abiding members of APC, they have tried throughout the various stages to remain calm as well as encouraged all supporters of APC in the state to maintain peace adding that the state peaceful coexistance is paramount and as such it is very vital to maintain it.
He explained that it is equally important to commend the efforts of the security agencies as well as to support their effort particularly the Nigerian Police, the DSS among others.
Earlier in his address, former Executive Director, Kano, State Censorship Board, Alhaji Isma’ila Afakallah revealed that the lawfulness displayed by APC members when the Independent National Electoral Commission declared NNPP as the winner in the last governorship election is indeed worth commending adding that their clamness and had materialised to the party’s victory in the tribunal and the appeal courts.

Afakallah also appealed for calmness and discouraged any actions that could disrupt the existing peace, and urged the public to support the efforts of the Police as well as other security agencies.
