The ongoing 39th Kano international trade fair has been extended to 14th December as against the initial closing date of December 8.
This was disclosed by the Deputy President of Kano State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA) and Chairman Implementation Committee, Ambassador Usman Darma.
He said due to late registration of some participating companies and based on request, the management of KACCIMA deems it fit to extend the fair.
He added that, activities on the fair were at its peak and patronisers also demanded for an extension so as to be able to explore opportunities provided by the fair.
“There were many participants that have arrived late, and therefore called for an extension. It is based on the request that the management extended the fair by four days,” he said.
The fair with the theme “Ease of Doing Things is the Key to Sustainable Development in Nigeria” is hosting about 500 exhibitors from within Nigeria for the annual fair.
