Traditional medicine sellers face arrest for marketing products using pornographic words
Kano State government has said that it will start arresting traditional medicine sellers that are using pornographic words in the state while selling their products.
The state government has formed a committee to check the menace under the leadership of the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, with KAROTA, Hisbah, and other security agencies as members.

Secretary to the state Ministry of Health, Dr. Usman Tijjani Aliyu, announced this while addressing newsmen in Kano on Wednesday, adding that all arrangements have been made for the committee to begin the work.
He said Hisbah and KAROTA personnel have been saddled with the responsibility of arresting the defaulters before charging them to court.
He added that the excess use of pornographic words by traditional medicine sellers has reached its peak and the state government cannot allow that to continue.
