The Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) of Federal University, Dutsin-ma, in Katsina State, have elected Isyaku Yusuf Karofi as their chairman.

Karofi emerged during the first general meeting of the union held at the University’s Auditorium. Others elected  exco members are:  Sanni Gbenga Leo as Secretary and Hafsat Usman as Treasurer among others. 

The National Deputy Secretary of the union (North), Comrade Danjuma Jibrin, who conducted the swearing-in ceremony, said the formation of unions in the university was a priority for him because it will pave the way for the staff to be carried along in the achievement of the vision and mission of the university.
