The mercurial and combative midfielder, Haggai Katoh has been named Plateau United’s Player of the month of April.
The former Nasarawa United midfielder has been in superb form this season and his partnership with the fellow midfielder, Sunday Anthony has been a delight to watch.

Katoh has been an integral part of the Plateau United team who currently sit second on the league table whilst being 7 points away from title chasers, Rivers United.
He is also one of the front runners for goals of the season after scoring a spectacular free-kick from 30 yards against Sunshine United earlier in the season.
A gleeful Haggai Katoh who received the award, expressed gratitude to his teammates for the support and encouragement assuring that he will continue to give his best for the success of the team.
The Plateau United Player of the Month Award which was initiated by Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu shortly after assuming office as Technical Adviser is aimed at creating an avenue for healthy competition for places in the team.
Some of the previous winners of the awards are Daniel Itodo, Sunday Anthony, Ikefe Andrew, Buhari Ibrahim, Akila Jesse who all went home with a plaque and cash prize for their efforts.
