Then the writer made reference to the issue of spending money for President Jonathan’s election. The mischief here is that the writer refused to attest to the simple truth that Tata wouldn’t have done what he claimed to have done if Shema, in his capacity as coordinator of the Goodluck/Sambo campaign in the North-West zone had been sincere in carrying out that assignment.

Tata had to come in to prove that not everyone is like him by singularly bankrolling the campaign. In any case why is Shema’s boy not comfortable with Tata’s contribution to Jonathan’s success if truly he and his master love the president!

Why are they not mentioning Tata’s contribution to many politicians in the state including the governor? Why is it so easy for them to always castigate the president when they have all benefitted from Tata’s contribution?

The state government had once placed an advertorial in some newspapers where it claimed that what Tata said was a lie. If indeed what he said was lie, why are they calling for his probe. Do you probe a lie! If they want Tata to be probed let them come and accept what he said then we will see who should be probed. I am always at loss for Shema’s spin-doctors to be disturbing us with the projects done by Shema during his first term from 2007 to 2011.

What Shema did then was history and it was consigned to the annals of Katsina state and indeed posterity will judge him. We gave Shema a fresh mandate in 2011 and now it is 2012, and we want to know what Shema has so far done to Katsina state with the new mandate to make us feel that we did the right thing in voting him into office again.

The only crime of Umar Tata is that he is challenging Shema to do the right thing, no more, no less.

Time will come when Katsina will beckon at him again, until then all we say is Almighty Allah is always with the patient ones.
