Several candidates from different parties across the state are using Buhari’s pictures alongside theirs to campaign.
The state party chairman, Mustapha Inuwa, told our correspondent that the party has already asked its lawyers to write a warning letter to Tata and others over their actions and will equally notify INEC as it contravenes the Electoral Act.
He said if those involved fail to adhere to the warnings, the party will have no option but to approach the courts for redress, noting that ‘you cannot reap where you did not sow.’
He said: “You cannot be in two parties at the same time: If you want to join APC feel free and move in but stop deceiving people by using Buhari to seek votes from unsuspecting electorate,” adding that the party would destroy the ones in circulation and stop them from printing new ones.
