Of the amount, N3 billion is for the procurement of fertiliser for both dry and wet season farming while N204.6 million will be spent on irrigation farming.
A breakdown of the ministry of agriculture’s budget obtained during the ministry’s budget defence showed that N51 million was earmarked for animal health and veterinary services while N77 million was for livestock.
Forestry and Co-operatives were allocation N308 million and N60 million respectively.
