The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rescheduled the aborted election of Danmusa local government area of Katsina state for next week 18th April.
Briefing newsmen, the Resident electoral Commissioner Ibrahim Bagobiri said election will take place in 10 of the eleven wards of the area.
Equally, some parts of the DanAli ward had election but materials for Gabasawa polling center were destroyed.
Violent protest had erupted in the area leading to the postponement of the election. Unspecified number of persons were feared killed while motorcycles and cars were vandalized.
