The Katsina State Police Public Relations Officer, Aminu Sadiq, was among the 21 newly promoted officers to the rank of superintendent of police.
34 other inspectors were decorated with the new ranks of assistant superintendent of police at the command’s headquarters in the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Abdullahi Usman, urged the newly promoted officers to see their promotion as call to higher responsibility.
“By this new rank, it is expected that you will get new posting and, as such, be prepare for the new challenge,’’ he said.
He said that promotions would be done in batches, urging those not promoted to remain patient.
