A Magistrate Court in Koko, Koko-Besse Local Government area of Kebbi State has declared a suspected drug dealer wanted.
Magistrate Hashimu Birnin Tudu granted bail to the families of the suspect, Habu Musa Hakoko who were earlier held after the suspect’s escape from the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The woman was tagged a notorious drug dealer by NDLEA operatives after discovering her warehouse where she kept illegal narcotics substance.
The NDLEA had arrested the suspect’s husband and daughter when her whereabouts remained unknown. The two were released on bail with the sum of N400, 000.
Commandant of NDLEA, Kebbi State, Alhaji Suleiman Jadi confirmed the woman’s escape to journalists.
“We are still looking for her. She is well known as a notorious marijuana dealer in Koko community. All her exhibits are with us inside polyethylene bags. She is selling the drugs in pieces to her customers,” he had said.
