The Kebbi State government on Thursday announced the dismissal of three district heads in three local government areas of the state over gross misconduct, insubordination, abscondment, fraud and partisanship.

The Chairman, Local Government Service Commission in the state, Alhaji Mansur Shehu at a press briefing said the action was in line with Public Service Rules (PSR).

The deposed district heads include Alhaji Lawal Yakubu, Mai Arewan Yeldu in Arewa Local Government Area; Malam Ahmed Sani, Sarkin Gabas Geza in Dandi LGA and Alhaji Tukur Aliyu, Jagwadejin Bakuwe from Suru LGA, all in Gwandu Emirate.

He said after all necessary investigations and consultations, the commission found the district heads liable to dismissal from local government service in line with Public Service Rule (PSR) 030302, which amount to gross misconduct, PSR 030301, movement without permission and PSR 030302 & 030407, dismissal.
