He said in a statement by the secretary of the publicity and media committee of his campaign organization Malam Haruna Saidu that the main issue at stake was integrity, records of service and honesty of the candidates, saying the recent mass defections of some PDP members to the All Progressives Congress (APC) would not affect his chances at the polls tomorrow.
Meanwhile, former FCT minister and senator-elect under APC Muhammad Adamu Aliero has said that the party’s governorship candidate in the state Senator Atiku Bagudu would record landslide victory during tomorrow’s elections.
Aliero, in a statement by his media assistant Abdullahi Idris Zuru yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, commended the foresight of the defectors from PDP to APC in the state for realizing the need to join the Kebbi restoration team.
