KEDCO commissions 15MVA sub-station in Kano

Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has commissioned a 15MVA capacity sub-station in Dakata, Nasarawa local government area, Kano state.

Commissioning the sub-station, Managing Director of the company, Alhaji Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna stated that the company spent over 200 million for the construction of the sub-station to improve energy distribution in the area.

He said the sub-station would serve over 100 industries and 10,000 residential houses and shops in the area. 

Chief Operating Officer of the company, Mr Raul Singh called on the beneficiaries  of the project to safeguard the facility and charged them to ensure prompt payment of their electricity bills to KEDCO.
