Today, their songs, ‘Gbedu Fiesta’ and ‘Give Me Dat Beat’ have begun to enjoy airplay.
Last month at the end-of-year party at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, they performed to the admiration of all and even first-time listeners to their music could not help being carried away by the rhythm and beat, which was a unique blend. Such was their performance at the IBB University too where they performed recently. Today, they have shifted base to the Federal Capital Territory as they have begun to perform in selected shows in Abuja.
According to DJ Samx, “They intend to take their music to the doorsteps of Nigerians if possible.” He further promised that the rate at which they are going, they will soon become household names in Abuja and then move on to Lagos, Port Harcourt and eventually go nationwide.
The unique group is made up of talents such as dancers as well as rappers and singers. Their individual talents is so well synchronised that one cannot help but be enthralled by their songs. And they say they hope to work together as a group not minding the fact that they had all been solo artistes.
Recently, they performed at the Nations’ Cup Carnival, Old Parade Ground, Abuja and it was a hit. When the anchor, Onome Da Saint, took over the microphone after their performance, the audience who were seeing them for the first time screamed themselves hoarse for more, thereby prompting the organisers to give the ladies more time to perform. Due to popular demand, their promoters say they have been contacted to bring them back for future events.
The group on its part is calling for the support of all Nigerians even as they informed Weekly Trust that they would do everything possible to win the hearts of Nigerian fans.
