Notorious kidnapper popularly known as Evans, has said he is ‘not guilty’ to the two-count charges of conspiracy and kidnapping he initially pleaded ‘guilty’ to.

This change happened on Thursday during his appearance before Justice Hakeem Oshodi in Ikeja Division of the Lagos State High Court.

Evans had initially in August entered a ‘guilty’ plea to the charges after he was arraigned, alongside five other accomplices,

During the hearing, the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution, Titilayo Shitta-Bey, further explained to Oshodi about the amendment of the charges which affects only to the punishment section for the second charge.
