The Gombe State Police Command has rescued one Alhaji Samaila Muhammed, a 48-year-old man, who was reportedly kidnapped in Lano village, Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area of the state.

The rescue operation, conducted in collaboration with local vigilantes, was swift and well-coordinated, to ensure that the victim was recovered unhurt.

A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, said following his rescue, Alhaji Muhammed, was taken to the hospital for a medical examination and had since been reunited with his family.
