The abductors of nine people from Pavu community in Kuje Area Council of the FCT have asked the families of the victims to send them foodstuff, saying they will discuss the issue of ransom with them later.
City & Crime had reported that kidnappers in the early hours of Tuesday invaded Pavu village in Gaube Ward, killed the Village Head, Danladi Sabo, and abducted nine others.
A relative of one of the abducted victims, simply identified as Josiah, said the kidnappers called on Wednesday afternoon through one of the victims’ phone to ask the families to raise money to buy them foodstuff.
He said the kidnappers’ leader told the families that feeding the victims was more important, adding that discussion on ransom would follow later.
