The released victim, Aisha Peter, who is the wife of the chief of the community, David Peter, told City & Crime on Sunday that the gunmen made her trek in their company from their hideout believed to be in Kaduna State to a main road and provided transport fair for her.
She explained that, “They demanded that I provide a ransom of N50m for my husband and another N50m for our 3 children. They have given a two-week deadline to make the money available or that they would proceed with all the victims to their main base in Zamfara State.”
