Four suspected kidnappers’ informants have been apprehended by hunters at Rafin-Daji forest in Gurdi Ward of Abaji Area Council of the FCT.

A member of the hunters group, who preferred anonymity, said the suspected informants were arrested on Sunday evening at neighbouring Paikon Basa village.

He said his group which was on patrol around Rafin-Daji and Paikon Basa got intelligence information about one of the informants who resided around the village and normally came to buy foodstuff for the kidnappers.

He explained that, “After receiving the information, our men moved into action and arrested the suspected informant, which led to the arrest of three other suspected members of the kidnapping gang.”

The District Head of Gulida, Abubakar Sadauna, confirmed the arrest of the suspects.

The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command DSP, Adeh Josephine, was yet to reply an SMS about the arrests.
