Community members of Yalwa Gidan Raziku ward of Kiru local government area have called on Kano state government to include the area in its community development programs as the community lacks basic amenities.

The call was made in a statement issued by Gidan Raziku Development Association jointly signed by the association’s Chairman, Malam Adam Jafaru and its secretary, Malam Sagir Dangora respectively.

The community members urged the government to redeem pledge of building school, connecting them with electricity and providing portable water in the area. The statement said that people in the area would not give up “until leadership in the state fulfils the promises.”

The statement commended current leadership in the state for executing developmental projects across the state a gesture it described as praiseworthy.
