“It is the same with me as it is with Mats [Hummels], Ilkay [Gundogan], [Robert] Lewandowski, Mario [Gotze], Marco [Reus] – other clubs have expressed their interest,” he told Sporting Bild. “There were in fact several inquiries from other clubs, of which I had never before thought they would have interest in committing to me and my coaching staff. My respect towards BVB is so great that I really never thought about it. I am now 46 years old, so we’ll see how long my chapter with Dortmund lasts. I’m not about to run away”.
