She disclosed that the contractor had collected 65% of the money but only 45% of the work was completed.She urged the contractor to put effort, saying the State government had put high premium on the hospital, as, according to her its completion would help in improving health care delivery in the state.

Kiru stated that government would not take it lightly with the contractor, adding that he should emulate the contractor handling the work of the zoo road Paediatric Hospital.

The commissioner explained that despite problems encountered at the beginning of the work, the contractor had done much, saying it was an indication that he might finish the work within the stipulated time of 18 months.

In a related development the commissioner has also called on Isyaka Rabiu &Sons Company Limited to speed up effort on the renovation of the Isyaka Rabiu Housing Estate bought by the state government for the relocation of the Police Mounted Troop.
