Kogi 2011: It’s time for the youths

That is why we the youths wish to identify with Isah Jibrin (Echocho) and his aspiration to contest the governor of Kogi State. We believe his governorship bid will provide the panacea for overall development of the economy of Kogi State.

Presently, our economy is deteriorating, poverty challenges is on the increase, existing infrastructures are collapsing, unemployment is on the increase, the major casualties are at all times the youths/students.

Isah Jibrin Echocho has over the years touched the lives of the youths/students by direct funding, giving out scholarships, and providing employments irrespective of age or tribes. Aside the employment of Kogi youths, he has brought development to the state by empowering the citizens economically.

With such a man as our governor, the resources of the state will be well managed for the benefit of all. A pragmatic and energetic manager of resources who can sit at the helm of the affair of the state is what we need at this moment in time. He has the appropriate experience of the economy as a banker to alleviate the sufferings of the masses.

His remarkable contributions and achievements to human and physical development of Kogi State when he was Afribank’s Executive Director is an eye opener not only to the youths and students, but to the larger population of Kogi State citizens. We believe he will endure the overheated nature of Kogi State politics and introduce a cooler atmosphere for the rapid and lasting development of the state. The fight is not for him as individual, but the collective spirit of the citizens of Kogi State.
