Kogi: As Idris steps out in 2012

For somebody to qualify for the above mentioned posts, he or she must belong to a political party. The political party will canvass for the vote using the right candidate. Some of these aspiring candidates may be good products for sale to the electorate why some wrong ones may cause the political party to lose an election.

Come 2012, Kogi State will be going to the poll to elect their governor. Several members of the People Democratic Party (PDP) are warming up for this plum job. The question now is who is the right candidate for this job?

The current global trend is youth now takeup vey serious political positions. For instance, we have Barak Obama of the US and Vladamir Putin  of Russia. Back home here we have the likes of Dr. Bukola Saraki of Kwara State and his Benue State Hon. Gabriel Suswa. In line with this positive trend, we, Kogi State youth who earnestly yearn for good governance are clamouring for one of us who we believe can stir the ship and deliver the dividend of democracy to the good people of Kogi state. We want the quiet and unassuming Engineer Musa Wada to succeed Governor Idris Ibrahim in 2012.

Our call for Engineer Wada to come and serve is borne out of the belief that he has experience and what it takes to lead the good people of Kogi State.  Among all the aspiring candidates under our great political party, the PDP, Wada’s credentials stand him out tall as an intellectual and achiever especially judging by his sterling performance in his current place of assignment. As a philanthropist, he has helped so many people who came his way, both young and old. He started this philanthropist attitude right from his secondary school days, a character banqueted on him by his father.

As a youth among the entire contesting aspirants, he knew the challenges and responsibility of what quality dividend of democracy is all about. And as such, we the Kogi State youth for good governance have chosen him to step forward and be our leader of tomorrow. The voice of the youth is the voice of the people and the voice of the people is the voice of the lord.

We therefore call on all the good people of Kogi State to join hand with the Kogi youth for good governance to ensure that Wada emerges the preferred candidate of PDP

Aminu Yunusa, Imabulo, Anpka, Kogi State.
