Governor Yahaya Bello has appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Isah-Amoka as the new clerk of the Kogi State House of Assembly.

Amoka, a onetime chairman of the Kogi State council of the Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ), was a Director of Information at the assembly prior to his appointment.

Speaking to journalists yesterday shortly after assuming duty, Amoka commended governor Bello for the appointment, promising to work in synergy with the leadership and members of the assembly to move the legislative body to higher level.

He said Governor Yahaya Bello has done a lot in bringing about facelift and infrastructural development over the past three years.
