Commissioning the equipment in Lokoja, Governor Idris Wada said the equipment were his administration’s resolve to reduce the cost of agricultural production in the state.
He said his administration is determined to create conducive environment for farmers, saying that the equipment will go a long way in boosting agricultural production.
“Many farmers particularly those in the rural areas have the intention of increasing their production but could not do so due to high cost of farm implements. The gesture will encourage such farmers to improve on their production,” he said.
Earlier, the Managing Director of ADP, Prof. Dominic Akpa, commended the state government for the effort, saying it will alleviate the suffering of farmers in the area of land clearing.
