The youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kabba Bunu, Kogi State, Olwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin, has celebrated the leadership legacy and transformative impact left by ex-governor Yahaya Bello.
This comes amid the recent allegations of misappropriation surrounding the tenure of Bello.
In a statement on Saturday, Eseyin refuted the allegations.
He said Bello, who served the state “diligently” for eight years, deserves acknowledgement for the transformative impact of his tenure.
“By substantiating the achievements and prudent management of state resources during his tenure, we can effectively refute these baseless allegations and reaffirm the legacy of exceptional leadership.
“I am disappointed at the baseless allegations, despite the tangible progress made during Bello’s tenure. I call for unity among stakeholders and citizens,” the statement said.
Eseyin therefore challenged those behind the allegations to present substantiated evidence.
