The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted full accreditation for 11 programmes of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, presented for accreditation in December 2018, including urban planning.
Public Relations Officer of the polytechnic, Luke Yakubu, in a statement said the approval letter sent to the institution and signed by Musa M. Gogo, Director of Polytechnic Programmes on behalf of the Executive Secretary of NBTE, stated that the accreditation would last for a period of five years with effect from the 2017/2018 academic session.
The accredited programmes include ND Foundry, ND Public Administration, ND Office Technology and Management, ND Accountancy, ND Library and Information Science, HND Urban and Regional Planning, HND Public Administration and Management, HND Accountancy and Institutional Management.
