He stated this when he led a delegation on a visit to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Abuja recently.
While commending Nigeria for its care of vulnerable groups, Mr Chol requested for the partnership and cooperation of the ministry on women and children in the two countries.
The envoy said: “I will do my best to promote the relationship between the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development and relevant institutions in Korea.”
Presenting a letter of invitation to Nigerian children for the International Children Camp scheduled for July in Korea, the Ambassador asked the Permanent Secretary to lead a delegation of Nigerian children to the event which will be sponsored by his country.
Responding Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Habiba Muda lawal said the ministry is honoured with the visit and promised its readiness to work together with the ambassador and his country. Lawal said the ministry also established a Children’s Parliament which gives children opportunities to discuss and proffer solutions to issues affecting them.
