I write to praise the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration on youth empowerment through initiatives such as Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) and Bank of Industry Youth Empowerment Scheme.
I am proud that the change mantra we sang, canvassed and voted massively for is finally yielding results and the government is fulfilling its promises. We, however, pray for timely release of funds for programmes that will help to jump start the economy.
I must note here that delayed disbursement of funds for similar initiatives in the past hindered their success. I also urge the president to act quickly and tackle the unemployment problem bedevilling the country.
