The Gomo of Kuje in the FCT, Alhaji Haruna Jibrin, has commended the transformation of the town’s road network, noting that improved connectivity has opened Kuje to an influx of businesses.
He said that residents now regarded the town as a “viable economic hub”.
The traditional ruler spoke while hosting the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors, led by their Coordinator, Adamu Abdullahi, popularly known as Candido.
He noted that given the level of attention President Bola Tinubu had accorded Kuje through the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, only ungrateful residents would deny the impact of good governance.
He assured the delegation that his domain would fully mobilise for a successful area council election.
The monarch prayed for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, wishing them unity, harmony and success in their assignment.
Similarly, the Esu Sa’Rubochi of Kuje Area Council commended the appointment of Candido as the group’s coordinator, adding that “even the blind can feel the presence of government in Rubochi.”
