Kuje boss receives white paper on contract verification

The Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Alhaji Abdullahi D. Galadima, yesterday received the white paper of the contract verification committee in the area.

Our reporter learnt that the chairman had in August, 2107, set up a seven-man committee, which had the council secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Wokili as chairman and Mr. Ignitus Unoruo, as secretary.

Galadima, after receiving the white paper said it was one of the best reports among all the committees he set up on assumption of office a year ago.

He said though he was yet to go through the details of the document submitted to him, he commended the committee for a job well-done.

He assured members of the committee that he would meet with members of the executive council for further deliberation and implementation of the committee’s report.

Earlier, the chairman of the committee, Alhaji Abdulrazak Wokili, while presenting the white paper said the committee was able to carry out a thorough job by adhering strictly to the terms and references of the panel.

He therefore advised the chairman to implement the report to ease the burden on his administration.
